How to Export Your Passwords from PassWatch to Ultra PassWatch

Exciting news! PassWatch is being upgraded to the new and improved Ultra PassWatch. In this article, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to help you transition to Ultra PassWatch.

 

Android

Step 1: Export your passwords from PassWatch 

Note: You will need your Master Password to complete this process.

  1. Open the PassWatch app on your device.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner.

  3. From the menu, tap Settings.

  4. Scroll to the Data section and tap Export data.

  5. Select CSV as your export format, then tap Export data to begin exporting your passwords.

  6. Once the export is complete, the file will be automatically saved to your device. You’ll need this file in the next steps to import your passwords into Ultra PassWatch.

 

Step 2: Download Ultra PassWatch 

To download Ultra PassWatch, first sign in to your UltraVPN account at app.ultravpn.com.

Once signed in, select Ultra PassWatch from the left-hand menu of your dashboard to be redirected to the download.

 

Step 3: Create your Ultra PassWatch Account

  1. Launch Ultra PassWatch and select the Create account option located at the bottom of the sign-in page. 

     

  2. To begin the registration process and establish your Master Password, enter your UltraVPN credentials first. 

  3. Next, choose a Master Password. This password must be unique, secure, and memorable, as it should not be reused for any other service. Type your chosen password into both the Master Password and Confirm Password fields and tap Continue to proceed.

     

  4. Following account creation, a screen will appear presenting your unique Recovery Key.
  5. It is vital that you copy, download, or write down this recovery key. If you ever lose your Ultra PassWatch Master Password, this key is the exclusive method for regaining access to your vault. Please note that your stored passwords are unrecoverable without either your Master Password or this Recovery Key.
  6. After ensuring your recovery key is stored safely, check the box to confirm you have saved it and select Complete. Your Master Password setup is complete, allowing you to log in and synchronize your data across all your devices.

 

Step 4: Import your Passwords to Ultra PassWatch 

  1. Launch Ultra PassWatch.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the bottom-right corner to open Settings.
  3. Go to the General section and tap Import Passwords to Ultra PassWatch. Then, select the PassWatch exported data file.
  4. Once imported, a green notification banner will appear confirming: "Passwords imported successfully."
  5. Return to your vault to view the imported passwords.

Step 5: Uninstall the previous PassWatch App.

Once you’ve successfully imported your passwords into Ultra PassWatch, you can uninstall the previous PassWatch app from your device.

  1. Find the PassWatch app on your device.
  2. Press and hold the PassWatch app icon.
  3. Tap Uninstall.

  4. Tap OK or Uninstall to confirm.

That’s it! You’re all set to start using Ultra PassWatch.

iOS

Step 1: Export your passwords from PassWatch

  5. Return to your vault to view the imported passwords.

Step 5: Uninstall the previous PassWatch App.

Once you’ve successfully imported your passwords into Ultra PassWatch, you can uninstall the previous PassWatch app from your device.

  1. Find the PassWatch app on your device.

  2.  Press and hold the PassWatch app icon. 

  3. Tap Remove App. 

  4. Tap Delete App, then confirm.

That’s it! You’re all set to start using Ultra PassWatch.

Windows & Mac

Step 1: Export your passwords from PassWatch 

Note: You will need your Master Password to complete this process.

  1. Open your web browser, then click the PassWatch icon.
  2. Log in to your PassWatch account.

  3. Go to the PassWatch menu bar, then choose Settings.

  4. Click the Data tab, then click the Export Data button.

  6. Once the import is complete, you’ll see the “PassWatch exported data” file in your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Download Ultra PassWatch

To download Ultra PassWatch, first sign in to your UltraVPN account at app.ultravpn.com.

Once signed in, select Ultra PassWatch from the left-hand menu of your dashboard to download the extension.


Step 3: Create your Ultra PassWatch Account

Step 4: Import your Passwords to Ultra PassWatch

  3. Select the PassWatch exported data you downloaded in Step 1, then import it.
  4. Once imported, a green notification banner will appear confirming: "Passwords imported successfully."

Step 5: Uninstall the previous PassWatch App.

Once you’ve successfully imported your passwords into Ultra PassWatch, you can remove the old PassWatch extension from your device.

 

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Select the Extensions icon in the toolbar.
  3. Find PassWatch and select More options (⋮).
  4. Select Remove from Chrome.
  5. Confirm by selecting Remove.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Select the Extensions icon in the toolbar.
  3. Find PassWatch and select More options (⋯).
  4. Select Remove from Microsoft Edge.
  5. Confirm by selecting Remove.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Select the Extensions icon in the toolbar.
  3. Find PassWatch and select Settings (⚙️).
  4. Select Remove Extension.
  5. Confirm by selecting Remove.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. From the menu bar, select Safari > Settings.
  3. Select the Extensions tab.
  4. Select PassWatch.
  5. Click Uninstall or deselect the extension, depending on your Safari version, and confirm if prompted.

That’s it! You’re all set to start using Ultra PassWatch.
