What is two-factor authentication?

A form of safety known as two-factor authentication (2FA) demands two different, independent forms of identity in order to grant access to something.
A password serves as the first factor, and biometrics—such as using your fingerprint, face, or retina—or a text message with a code delivered to your smartphone serve as the second.
Two-factor authentication boosts the security of your PassWatch account and makes it more difficult for attackers to steal access by seeking a second level of verification when you sign in. A code generated by one of the applications on your phone is required in addition to your password.
